Dr. Shoenthal earned his Bachelor of Science from Juniata College. He graduated from University of Pittsburgh Medical School and completed a rotating internship from Conemaugh Memorial Hospital. He is board certified as a fellow in family medicine by the American Board of Family Medicine. He has practiced family medicine in the area since 1973. At the 50th anniversary of Bedford Hospital, he was recognized as the Outstanding Physician. A few of his favorite things to do when not working are spending time with his grandchildren, riding bikes in the family orchard, and traveling.
Dr. Hillegass, who is local to the Bedford County area, earned his Bachelor of Science from the University of Pittsburgh in Johnstown. He graduated from the American University of Antigua College with a Doctor of Medicine degree. He completed his family medicine internship and residency at UPMC Altoona. He is board certified in family medicine by the American Board of Family Medicine. He has been with the practice since July 2019. In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with his wife and working on the family farm.
Dr. Hillegass was born in India. She graduated from the American University of Antigua College with a Doctor of Medicine degree. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her husband and learning the various tasks and work of living on a farm.
Ron grew up in the small community of Windber, PA. He has a myriad of diplomas in multiple disciplines. He was a Critical Care Registered Nurse with a Masters in CC/ER and was the Director at Windber Medical Center. He furthered his education and was a graduate of the Milton S. Hershey Medical Center in conjunction with the Penn State University Physician Assistant program in 1976. He has worked many disciplines, such as Critical Care, Emergency Medicine, Oncology, OB/Gyne, Urgent Care, but most of all Primary Care and has taken care of four generations of families. Ron is board certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants and is a member of the PSPA and AAPA. He has been actively practicing for 44 years. He invests himself in better health care for Bedford County and is passionate about the health of his patients.
Amanda Kreutzberger attended Saint Francis University in Loretto, Pennsylvania where she earned a Master's degree in Physician Assistant Sciences in 2008. She joined the New Paris Rural Health Clinic following graduation. Amanda is board certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants and certified in Basic Life Support. She enjoys spending her free time with her husband and four children.
Bill Martyak has been working as a physician assistant in Bedford County since the year 2000. Bill is a graduate of Forest Hills High School and the University of Pittsburgh at Johnstown. He graduated from St. Francis University in 2000 with a degree in Physician Assistant Sciences. He is board certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants. He is certified in Basic Life Support and is a certified Outdoor Emergency Care Provider through the National Ski Patrol. He works as a Ski Patroller at Hidden Valley Resort in Somerset County. He previously served as a medical officer in the Pennsylvania National Guard. He enjoys spending time outdoors, but most of all, enjoys spending quality time with his wife Joanna and their 4 children.
Jessica grew up in Nanty Glo, PA. She attended Saint Francis University in Loretto, Pennsylvania where she earned her Master of Physician Assistant Sciences. She is board certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants. Her clinical experience includes time spent in the surgical, behavioral medicine, emergency medicine, and family practice fields. Jessica chose to work in the Family Practice setting so that she could develop long-term relationships with her patients and their families. In her free time, she enjoys spending time outdoors, reading, traveling, and spending time with her family.
Ms. Yingling grew up here in Bedford County. She received her Master of Physician Assistant Science from St. Francis University in 2008 and holds a Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences from the University of Pittsburgh at Greensburg. She has been with New Paris Rural Health Clinic since June 2008. She is board certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants. She enjoys working in family practice as she likes forming relationships with families. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her husband Joe and their "Fur Children" Brody and Gracie. She is also an avid traveler and enjoys promoting humanitarian causes.
